Athens Walking Tours

See Athens in the company of a highly qualified guide

For centuries the ancient Greeks knew every tree, every little path and every rock of the area they lived in. They knew all details of every building in the Ancient Agora and on the Acropolis. “How come?”, you may ask. The answer is simple: they walked!

Athens, a town that never sleeps, is rapidly changing which makes guide books outdated quickly. You can’t ask questions to an audio guide system hanging  from your neck and you’ll be too busy rushing in and out a sightseeing  tour bus making photos without having seen much.

Walking is the very best way to see any town and Athens is no exception to that rule. With small, intimate walking tours packed with a wealth of information given by lisensed guides with more than 20 years of experience you’ll be able to go home and tell a story with every photo you show your family and friends and they will be amazed with your knowledge. Your visit to Athens will be a very valuable memory for many year years to come.

The highly qualified tour guides of Athens Walking Tours do as the ancient Greeks used to do; the pass on history by word of mouth. With their in-depth knowledge they show you the best of what Athens has to offer from an insider’s point of view. They provide a host of information from both ancient and modern Athens.
