Goody’s
is een moderne keten van fast-food restaurants en de Griekse
versie van McDonalds. Het verschil met deze laatste is dat Goody's
niet alleen zijn eigen aanbod aan hamburgers heeft, maar ook
een zeer uitgebreide saladebar. Je kunt je glas zo vaak je wilt
gratis met koud water vullen.
Goody’s
heeft 172 restaurants in Griekenland waarvan er 72 in Attika
liggen. Je zult ze dan ook regelmatig tegenkomen als je op wandel
bent in Athene.

opende zijn eerste restaurant in Griekenland in 1991 aan de
westkant van het Syntagma Plein in Athene. Vandaag zijn er 48
McDonalds restaurants doorheen Griekenland die in totaal ongeveer
1.500 mensen tewerkstellen.
Er
zijn twee McDonalds restaurants in het centrum van Athene. Dit
aan het Syntagma Plein heeft tafeltjes zowel binnen als buiten.
De vestiging aan het Monastiraki Plein heeft enkel tafels op
de eerste verdieping.

Everest is een fast-food keten die 24/7 open is en die hoofdzakelijk
broodjes verkoopt. De uitgebreide keuze omvat onder andere verschillende
pasteitjes met vlees-, spinazie- of kaasvulling, gebakjes en
toast, gegrilde broodjes gevuld met zoveel ingrediënten
als je verkiest. Er is eveneens een groot aanbod van kant-en-klare
broodjes. Kies eerst, betaal dan, breng je ontvangstbewijs naar
de toonbank en men zal je bestelling klaarmaken. Er zijn een
paar tafeltjes binnen en er is een groter terras buiten. De
prijzen zijn normaal en de kwaliteit is goed.
