Nationale Dienst voor Toerisme
in Athene

Er zijn vier kantoren van de Nationale Dienst voor Toerisme (G.N.T.O. = Greek National Tourism Organisation) in en rond Athene. Deze kantoren hebben allemaal de tijdstabellen voor bussen, treinen en ferry’s alsook een gratis plattegrond van Athene. Ze kunnen je zowat elke informatie geven met betrekking tot toerisme in Athene en deels ook in de rest van Griekenland. Je kunt er ook een gratis exemplaar van ‘This week in Athens’ ophalen.

Structuur van de G.N.T.O.

De Griekse Nationale Dienst voor Toerisme ressorteert onder het Griekse Ministerie van Toerisme. Het hoofddoel van de G.N.T.O. is de organisatie, ontwikkeling en promotie van toerisme in Griekenland. Aldus is het de belangrijkste organisatie voor het voorstellen, het plannen en het toepassen van het toerismebeleid in Griekenland.
