Agii Isidori (Saint
Isidor)
Saint
Isidor is a tiny church hidden inside a rock in the middle of
Lykavittos hill. It is built inside a big cave, which the old
Athenians called the church of Agios Sidereas. It is not known
when it was built but there is evidence that it existed in the
mid-19th century. The church was burned down in 1930 and was rebuilt
in 1931.
