The Euthydikos Kore. This statue of a younger kore is well-known
because she seems to be in a bad mood. This work was a forerunner
of the Classical style. Her body, distinguished for its roundness
and her serious, unsmiling expression, announce the new tendencies
and the new style. She was placed on the Acropolis ca. 490 BC
and is from an Attica workshop. - Acropolis
