Theatre Museum
The Museum and Study Centre of the Greek Theatre was founded in
1938 by the Greek Theatre Writers Society and, since 1977, it
has been housed in the basement of the Cultural Centre of the
City of Athens.
Apart
from the exhibits, the museum has an extensive library and
a collection of records related to the Greek Theatre, which
has been computerized since 1992. The items on display include
:

• theatrical sets and costumes
• significant memorabilia from shows
• personal items of great actors
The displays are separated in the categories: modern Greek theatre,
