The
Hill of the Muses, south-west of the Acropolis
and with a view that sweeps from the Saronic
Gulf to the Argolic Hills, is now known as Philopappou
Hill. From here you are almost at eye-level
with the Acropolis and you have a breathtaking
view of the Parthenon.
